Campaign Viewers

  1. Click on the Campaigns tab at the top of the page to view all campaigns in the database.
  2. You do not need to register in order to view campaigns.
  3. If you are looking for a specific campaign you can search for it by title, author, topic or keywords.
  4. Use the narrow search tool to find campaigns based on behaviors, audience, state and campaign status.
  5. To view the campaign, click on the title.
  6. You will now see all of the information for the campaign, including the organization, contact person, targeted behaviors, target audience, audience/topic research, outreach strategies, lessons learned, and advice for similar campaigns.
  7. You can use the tabs at the top of the page to jump to specific parts of the campaign, instead of having to scroll.

 

Campaign Users

  1. If you have an account, login using the box on the left of the page. If you do not have an account, click on the Register button to set up an account. You need to create an account in order to add campaigns.
  2. Once you have logged in you will see an overview of all the campaigns that you have added and whether or not they are posted publicly.
  3. To add a new campaign click on the Create Campaign tab.
    • Header: Fill out the campaign title, author(s), and counties where the campaign is taking place. To select multiple counties, hold the Ctrl button and select the counties. You can also include the organization of the author, contact Information and the status of the campaign. Click Save & Next to save your progress before moving onto the next section.
    • Abstract: Provide an overview of the project you are working on or have completed. If campaign is in the planning stages, address what issue you are working on, what you hope to accomplish and other relevant information. If you have completed the project, include what methods you used, how successful the campaign was, and any conclusions that you reached. Be sure to include what behavior change you targeted/are targeting. Click Save & Next to save your progress before moving onto the next section.
    • Behavior: Select the highest priority behavior change for this campaign. You can also include why you selected this behavior, component behaviors/competing behaviors within the target behavior, and whether this behavior is one-time or continuous. Click Save & Next to save your progress before moving onto the next section.
    • Audience: Select all target audiences of this campaign. Once you have selected the audience(s), you can use the drop-down menus to select your primary and secondary audience. Next you can include a description of your target audience, as well as demographic information of the audience. You can use the provided links to find more information about your audience. Click Save & Next to save your progress before moving onto the next section.
    • Research: You can add more information about your audience, including research methods used, barriers to change, external factors of change, benefits of change, audience involvement in campaign planning and insight gained about target audience. Click Save & Next to save your progress before moving onto the next section.
    • Strategy: In this section you can discuss tools used to engage the audience, where this behavior occurs, and the primary message of the campaign. You can also include outreach tactics use to change behavior and how you communicated the message to your audience. Click Save & Next to save your progress before moving onto the next section.
    • Lessons: This section is where you can discuss the results of your campaign, such as people engaged, measurements of success, lessons learned and advice for similar campaigns. You can also discuss what worked or did not work for your campaign. Click Save & Next to save your progress before moving onto the next section.
    • Attachments: Once you have saved your campaign, you can attach files to your campaign information.
  4. Once you have filled out all of the pertinent information for your campaign, click Save. You can now publish your campaign by clicking the Make Public tab.
  5. Good job, you’re all done!
